    In this economic climate I would go for the perm job over contract every time. The benefits don’t outweigh the positives.

    Depends on what industry I would say i’m a IT engineer (Oracle) for the past 6 years I have worked as a contractor. We can earn more money and don’t have the internal politics as a perm member of staff.

    I can get pulled of my contract – but if you use the right recruitment agy I’ve always found it OK well its been good for the last 6 yrs.
