Nice questions Scot! I especially like No. 2 because since it’s a two-parter, it sheds light on how well the manager knows his team, and how he or she sees the team’s role in accomplishing the goals of the organization.

I agree. These are thinking questions that will provide a small window into the inner workings of the company. My favorite is question number two.

These are three excellent interview questions to ask. I believe they would lead to great insight about the manager you might work with and their ability to share openly. A polished manager may be able to snowball you, but a great one will pause and with some reflection provide you a window into the inner working of the company. Great questions!
