Exercising is no longer a career option

runningIt is a must-do activity.

For a long time, I thought I could get away from exercising. I’d have starts and stops, of course, but it was never “mandatory.”

Yet, with the significant stress of working for companies today and our hectic schedules, excercise is no longer an option. It is a necessity.

In a world where many are overweight, health costs are high and stress is pervasive, excercise is the magic potion that makes almost all of it better. Excercise helps us maintain weight, health of heart, and our energy levels that help us succeed in life.

I’m convinced that one can’t become a Cubicle Warrior without an effective exercise regimen. I’m adding it to the list of what it takes to become a Cubicle Warrior.

Of course, I’m not a doctor, so I can’t exactly write about what great exercise you should be doing. But I can note the need to exercise and give you some insights into some of my work.

What exercise routine has worked for you?

Exercise truly is no longer an option for me, either. I get so antsy sitting in front of a computer if I don’t get outside and walk! Sometimes the best lunch breaks are spent taking a stroll!

@Erika -
Interestingly, my wife just started walking during her lunch hour. While I exercise in the morning, she has found a window in the lunch hour.

There is just too much evidence that exercise is important for health. It’s time to just say “yes” it is time.
