Every few years – or months – companies grab on to the “next big thing.” Stuff like having a vision, or defining a mission statement, or promoting the latest new-fangled implementation strategy.
The latest craze in leading edge companies is “creativity and innovation.” Companies as diverse as General Electric and Samsung are all touting innovation as the true path to profit nirvana. Forget all about all that other stuff – innovation is where it’s at. Or so we think.
I’ll take a look at innovation over the next few posts – the latest craze in company creativity – and see how this relates to being a Cubicle Warrior.
